Illuminance and Wiise team up to offer complete NDIS solution

MEDIA RELEASE: illuminance Solutions partners with Microsoft Partner Wiise to offer significant software savings to NDIS providers

WA-based technology services provider illuminance Solutions has partnered with Australian Microsoft cloud-based business, Wiise to offer significant software discounts for nonprofit National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) providers.

Through its global award-winning customer management system AvantCare, illuminance has integrated Wiise, specifically for the finance and payroll functionality, to reduce implementation and integration costs by up to 80 per cent based on industry benchmark pricing for a CMS and finance system.

The integration will enable NDIS providers to save time and costs associated with the delivery and financial management for essential services for customers, as well as delivering quality care to their customers.

illuminance Solutions CEO Nilesh Makwana said this year had highlighted the need for an efficient, easily accessible online, and most important secure, service delivery platform for the disability services sector.

“During this global shutdown, care workers need to be sure that they have the tools available to provide services to those in need, no matter what the circumstances, and the service provider needs to keep control of its costs with up to date information to make key decisions rapidly. This packaged solution provides the complete platform to provide all of this and more.” said Mr Makwana.

“Wiise and illuminance have been peers in the non-profit industry for a few years now and we are delighted to be able to collaborate in a meaningful way that has the potential to alleviate cost-related stress, so providers can redeploy those savings back to the end users.”

Wiise is an accounting and ERP solution created by KPMG Australia, built on the latest Microsoft technology and supported by Commonwealth Bank. Wiise brings big business expertise designed to make enterprise technology accessible to SMBs in Australia, including those in the non-profit sector. Wiise also has a range of other partners who work in the non-profit sector, including KPMG Australia.

“In our unprecedented times, most organisations are trying to control their costs to maintain margins and are looking at their data to make critical decisions. By reducing unnecessary and time consuming administrative costs, we are hoping to give the disability sector a much needed reprieve, allowing them to focus on providing their essential services,” said Wiise Managing Director Jonathan Attia.

“Businesses should be collaborating to create better, more efficient systems. Wiise identified the opportunity to do so with illuminance, and we believe this complete solution will make a significant difference for our customers,” said Mr Attia.

AvantCare and Wiise are built using Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 Business Applications platform. AvantCare provides nonprofits with license discounts and sponsorships via Microsoft’s Tech for Social Impact initiative while Wiise has specially designed a $49 subscription licence for not-for-profits that helps non-profits manage funds, programs, payroll, forecasting and reporting in one place.

“Wiise was created to provide small to medium businesses a financial and accounting system that was also cost effective. As both providers are Microsoft Gold Partners, this software is able to seamlessly integrate benefitting the end users,” said Microsoft One Commercial Partner Director, Rachel Bondi.

This new packaged solution allows service providers to benefit from full Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and CRM capabilities as SMEs scale and outgrow their current account systems with significant cost savings, leveraging the integrated capabilities of AvantCare and Wiise.
