Approval Entries

Approval entries are records or entries made to document the authorisation given by the appropriate people for specific transactions or actions.


An approval entry is the digital signature that show a transaction or action has been given the green light by the right people.

Think of them as the 'OK' button in your accounting system, confirming that everything is in order according to the rules and policies. These entries include details like who approved it, when it was approved, and any notes about why it got the thumbs up.

Approval entries can track the status of the approval process. They can be used to track the approval of a variety of documents, including invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and employee timesheets.
