Inventory Picks

Inventory picks in a warehouse context are when workers choose specific items from shelves to either fulfil orders or restock inventory, following established procedures for efficiency and accuracy.

In a warehouse setting, inventory picks refer to the specific items or products chosen from available stock to fulfil customer orders or replenish shelves, typically organised and executed according to predetermined procedures to optimise efficiency and accuracy in the picking process.

It is used to identify the quantity and location of the items to be picked. Inventory picks are typically created by warehouse workers when they receive a picking order from a customer or another department within the company. The picking order specifies the quantity and location of the items that needs to be picked.
